Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with members in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate transactions accurately using POS systems such as NorthStar (will provide training on how to use it).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area(s) in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Contribute to new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Prepare garnishes, juices, and other aspects of bar services needed for day-to-day operations, banquets, etc.,.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs (if needed) and managing member/guest intoxication levels responsibly.
- Set up and break down portable bars for banquets/events, weddings, etc.
- Help other staff members with their breaks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with operating/using POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage members warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous food handling experience along with understanding of food safety standards in hospitality environments.
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking across multiple responsibilities.
- Experience in beverage recipe development or creating innovative drink menus is highly desirable.
- Previous Private Club experience a plus!
- Previous golf club (private or public) a plus!

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
