Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new business opportunities within assigned territories through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities
- Conduct thorough product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate clients on roofing and exterior solutions, emphasizing benefits and value propositions
- Manage existing accounts by nurturing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and maintain detailed records of client interactions and project progress
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively while ensuring profitability for the company
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and attract new prospects
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a professional presence in the community
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or exterior industry
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory sales and lead generation efforts effectively
- Expertise in business development, account management, and territory management strategies
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to foster long-term relationships
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while explaining technical details clearly
- Skilled in analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for upselling or expanding service offerings
- Effective communication skills for inside sales calls, retail interactions, and community engagement
- Familiarity with marketing tactics including cold calling, direct sales approaches, and territory management techniques
