We are looking for Truck Drivers. The ideal candidate must have a valid AB Driver's License with a clean driving record over the past 2 years and also have a current DOT medical card. We employ candidates with a strong work ethic as well as an interest in working as part of a team. Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated and be able to handle frequent lifting and moving of heavy boxes. We are looking for individuals who are interested in a career with ongoing opportunities for growth and potential for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate, transfer and deliver cargo utilizing a box truck, flatbed and/or other heavy equipment/vehicles
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
- Properly secure loads and ensure loads are within weight limits
- Maintain required documentation, including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, mileage and job orders
- Manually load and unload items onto and out of trucks
- Deliver goods to job sites
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness of assigned vehicles
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Forklift certification a plus
