Member Duties : The VISTA will strengthen KVIBE’s capacity to address poverty by developing educational, outreach, and data-management resources related to health, culture, and the land. The VISTA will: (1) update and revise educational curriculum covering bike mechanics, bike riding safety, mental health, and other forms of health (2) develop promotional templates for KVIBE’s various activities within the community including the annual Kalihi Ahupuaa Bike Ride (3) create a new reporting system for KVIBE participant and volunteer data required for various grants. The VISTA is expected to spend the first 3 months of service familiarizing themselves with KVIBE, KKV’s youth services, and KKV’s other programs to understand the greater health framework of the organization.
