We are looking for teachers (ages 2-5 years) who are passionate about the early childhood field and is interested in being part of a team of quality early childhood educators that is building a community of faith that ministers to the whole family while implementing an emergent curriculum.

Prospective applicants should have a strong child development background in two through five years and ECE, 12 core units.
Responsibilities and Duties
*Stimulates emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social growth of children by encouraging their interests, investigations, through questions and exploration.
*Encourages children's participation by providing interactive emergent activities.
*Provides a safe environment.
*Works well in a team teaching environment, is able to follow instruction, and is able to take initiative in getting classroom duties/responsibilities done.
*Maintains the center's professional status by understanding and following policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
* At least 12 core units
*CPR/First Aid Certified
*Record of Immunizations: current TB test clearance, pertussis, measles, annual influenzas
*Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating hours between 7am-6pm
*Salary starting $22.00-$24.00 /hour based on schooling and experience

▪Tuition Discount-50% discount on the monthly tuition for employee’s child(ren) attending Good Shepherd Preschool, dependent on space availability. Maximum monthly benefit is $750. The $150 registration fee is also waived.
▪Cash in lieu of Benefits – Flat rate of $175 per month taxable income. In order to receive this benefit, you must complete a Group Health Insurance Declination of Coverage form, and have minimum essential coverage, not in an individual plan.
