Responsibilities:
- The key function of the Activity Aide (Act A) is to work with the Activity Director and Assistant to implement an ongoing program of activities that are designed to meet the identified interests as well as meeting the physical, mental, spiritual and psychosocial needs of each Resident.
- The Activity Assistant is expected to partner with other members of the team including, but not limited to Sales, Nursing, Customer Service, and Dietary in order to promote and meet the psychosocial well-being of the patients, residents and their families.
- Promoting and developing positive peer relationships is an essential role function for the Activity Aide.
Qualifications:
- The Activity Aide needs to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preference for someone with previous experience as an Activity Aide.
- Preference for someone with at least one year of experience in a health care setting.
- Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language.
- Activity Assistant must have basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
