Silver Cypress Resort, a small oceanfront boutique resort in Nesika Beach near Gold Beach, is looking for a dependable, organized, and guest-focused House Manager.
This is a part-time position averaging approximately two hours per day, five days per week. Some availability around guest check-in time is important.
Pay: $35-$45 per hour
Schedule: Five days per week, approximately 10 hours per week with on-call responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to guest messages and resort phone notifications 24 hours a day, 5 days per week
- Review daily arrivals, departures, and special guest requests
- Coordinate housekeeping assignments and confirm that cleaners arrive
- Inspect guest units before check-in to ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready
- Replace missing items in each unit when needed
- Handle routine guest questions and promptly report serious guest or maintenance issues to the owners
- Maintain resort inventory and restock cleaning supplies
- Prepare and verify housekeeper invoices twice monthly
- Help hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
- Create a social media post each week
- Assist with occasional storm preparation and other resort needs
The Ideal Candidate:
- Dependable, trustworthy, and highly organized
- Friendly and professional with guests and staff
- Comfortable using a smartphone, email, and booking or social-media apps
- Able to notice small details and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Comfortable supervising independent housekeepers
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly with the owners
- Lives near Nesika Beach or Gold Beach and has reliable transportation
- Available for occasional last-minute guest or housekeeping situations
Hospitality, property-management, or housekeeping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
