SUMMARY
The Service Technician provides technical support for NBE products. This includes both mechanical and controls related issues. This frequently includes out-of-town traveling approximately 40 weeks per year, typically one week (Monday-Friday) or less per onsite visit to customer sites and working directly with NBE customers and/or contractors. There is a broad pay range posted for this job. Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with the startup of equipment at a customer location.
- Service or repair equipment at a customer location.
- Instruct customers in the correct operation of equipment.
- Write reports with detail about work performed on a job.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in machine building, installation and/or machine repair environment required.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is required, including the ability to read schematics.
- Experience with RSLogix 500/5000/Siemens (or similar) is required.
- Available for travel approximately 40 weeks per year, typically one week (Monday-Friday) or less per out-of-town, onsite visit, is required.
