Overview
i’m looking for two people to join our crew with previous construction experience. If you are interested rather than an interview, I’ll invite you to work with us for one day to see how well you work with the crew and see how much knowledge you have. You will be paid $25 an hour that day and your rate after that will be determined on your skill.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans
- Construct formwork
- Execute masonry, framing (including metal stud framing), carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, stucco application, and plastering tasks with precision
- Support installation of flooring, tile laying, caulking, and other finishing touches for renovation or restoration projects
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, heavy lifting procedures, heavy equipment operation, and site-specific safety plans
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of various trades such as masonry, carpentry, roofing
- Mechanical knowledge combined with construction estimating skills is preferred for understanding project scope and material needs
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other heavy equipment operation is essential
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site transportation is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from project plans and schematics
