Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Sr. Merchandiser – Bath Hard Goods to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive product development, merchandising, and retailer support for a broad assortment of bath accessories and storage solutions — from concept through production. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Sourcing, and overseas suppliers while partnering with licensing partners to develop branded product collections. The ideal candidate brings 3–7+ years of merchandising or product development experience in consumer hard goods or bath accessories, has a strong background working with major retailers including off-price and mass market accounts, and is comfortable traveling internationally to visit factories and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end category management process for bath hard goods, including product development, assortment planning, and merchandising strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships through effective vendor negotiations, contract management, and ongoing performance evaluations to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Utilize industry trends, Nielsen data, and sales analysis to identify new product opportunities and optimize existing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies that align with business requirements while controlling costs and mitigating risks.
- Oversee logistics, inventory control, and supply chain analytics to ensure timely delivery and stock availability across all sales channels.
- Conduct financial analysis related to profit & loss statements, pricing strategies, and demand planning to maximize profitability.
- Implement process improvements using merchandising software, ERP systems, and data visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 3 to 7+ years in merchandising or product development
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Product Development, or a related field preferred
- Industry Background: Consumer Hard Goods, Home Products, or Bath Accessories — required
- Retail Experience: Off-price, dollar store, or mass market retail account experience — required
- Materials Knowledge: Ceramic, resin, glass, metal, plastic, wood, bamboo, and hard goods manufacturing techniques — strongly preferred
- Overseas Experience: Direct experience working with overseas manufacturers and suppliers — required
- Technical Skills: Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills — Must
- Communication: Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills — Must
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally — required
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with e-commerce merchandising and online retail platforms; experience with licensing partners

Pay: From $100,000.00 per hour
