Part-Time Middle School Teacher | 10–15 Students
Location: Buckingham Baptist Church | Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, approximately 8:15 AM–2:45 PM

Arise & Shine Christian Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid homeschool program opening for the 2026–2027 school year in Buckingham, Florida. We view this work as both education and ministry, partnering closely with families to create a calm, connected learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. This is a super fun, hands on and discussion based Christian curriculum.
Our hybrid model combines:
- 2 days on campus
- small multi-age classrooms
- integrated unit studies
- strong academics rooted in Christian faith and community
We are currently hiring for middle school teaching position, with placement based on experience, strengths, and fit. We are looking for creative, warm, engaging educator who value meaningful relationships, creative learning, and collaboration with homeschooling families.
Responsibilities
Lead a small middle school classroom of approximately 10–15 students
- Facilitate engaging discussions, projects, and hands-on learning
- Expand upon our provided unit study curriculum
- Support students academically, socially, and spiritually
- Communicate with families and collaborate with staff
Qualifications
- Teaching experience preferred
- Homeschool, hybrid, private school, co-op, or multi-age classroom experience is a plus
- Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
- Ability to connect well with students and families
- Organized, flexible, and self-motivated
- Alignment with the Christian mission and values of Arise & Shine Christian Academy

Pay: $25–28/hour based on experience and fit
