Position: LTAC RN
Location: West Allis, WI
Schedule: 8 hour shifts, NOC shift or AM shift available
Contract Duration/Type: 13 week contract with opportunity to extend
Summary: The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, medication administration, patient assessments, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination within a rehabilitation and acute care setting.
The role requires strong clinical judgment, patient communication, and the ability to manage patients with mobility, recovery, and complex care needs.
Job Duties:
Provide direct bedside nursing care
Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status
Administer medications and IV therapies
Support discharge planning and patient education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Support patient mobility, recovery, and safety initiatives
Respond to changes in patient condition appropriately
Requirements:
Active RN license required
BLS certification required prior to first shift
ACLS may be required depending on unit assignment
Minimum two years bedside clinical experience strongly preferred
Acute care, rehab, LTACH, med/surg, or inpatient experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills required
