Job Overview
The Independent Ice Company and Rigby Yard ( www.independentice.com ) is seeking a part-time host for Weekends and some weekdays. As our summer team heads back to school we have immediate openings for fall and winter!
We are hiring immediately for part-time. Additional shifts and expanded hours will be available in the next 4-6 weeks as well
Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and assist with seating arrangements
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of guest seating and service
- Maintain communications with kitchen and support staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the FOH
- Assist with guest services, including providing menus, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special needs
Experience
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations techniques preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Professional etiquette and guest interaction skills are essential
Pay: $16.75 - $25.00 per hour
