What you'll do
- Prepare and serve espresso drinks, pour-overs, cold brew, and specialty beverages to spec
- Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism, handling high-volume rushes with ease
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Operate a POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the team to restock, prep, and ensure smooth daily operations
- Educate guests on menu offerings and seasonal specials
Required experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista, or 2+ years in a restaurant or hospitality role
- Demonstrated knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques
- Strong communication and customer service skills in a guest-facing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work morning and weekend shifts
- Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Nice to have
- Experience with specialty or third-wave coffee techniques (latte art, single-origin, etc.)
- Familiarity with café POS systems (Square, Toast, etc.)
- Passion for coffee origins, roasting, or brewing methods
- Bilingual a plus
Hours: 7:30AM - 5 PM
Shifts include weekday mornings, weekends, and events.
