Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the salon team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, shift management, and inventory control
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff to ensure high performance
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent client relationships
- Monitor retail sales, retail math (calculations related to pricing and profit margins), and merchandising strategies
- Conduct employee orientation sessions to align team goals with company standards
- Maintain accurate payroll records, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping documentation
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and promote salon services
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a retail or service environment, preferably within a salon or beauty industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, and retail sales strategies
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, budgeting, and retail math calculations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of customer service best practices and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with employee recruiting, interviewing techniques, and training & development processes
- Organizational skills to oversee store merchandising, stocking, marketing efforts, and store management functions
