Audio Visual (AV) Engineer – Zoom & Microsoft Teams
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite required)

About the Role
Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking an Application Specialist II / Digital Workplace Engineer to join the Digital Workplace team supporting enterprise-wide managed virtual events. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering seamless technical support for high-profile meetings, webinars, executive presentations, and global town halls.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting AV/video conferencing technologies, advanced Zoom capabilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end technical support for managed virtual events from planning through post-event completion.
Partner with event organizers to understand event requirements and recommend the appropriate meeting technology and support.
Support Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Rooms, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
Manage assigned events through the entire event lifecycle, including:
Coordinate technical testing with internal teams and resolve issues before events.
Ensure all meeting technology and configurations are properly set up based on event requirements.
Train presenters, speakers, and participants on Zoom functionality and meeting best practices.
Coordinate with event stakeholders, internal support teams, and Zoom support throughout testing and live events.
Monitor live events and quickly resolve audio, video, connectivity, and presentation issues.
Lead technical bridges during live events and ensure a seamless user experience.
Document technical issues, lessons learned, and recommendations to improve future events.
Contribute to continuous improvement of event management processes and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting AV/video conferencing technologies.
Advanced experience using Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinar features.
Experience supporting video conferencing equipment.
Strong customer service skills with experience supporting business users and executives.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during live events.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work onsite in Cambridge as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Zoom Rooms.
Experience with Zoom Production Studio.
ServiceNow experience or familiarity.
Experience supporting enterprise virtual events or executive meetings.
Experience working with global teams.

Open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
This role supports high-visibility enterprise events, including executive meetings, global town halls, and other large virtual events held throughout the year.
Flexibility to support scheduled events outside of standard business hours when needed.
