Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled X-Ray Technician to join our Orthopedic dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality X-ray images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. The ideal candidate will be currently certified, possess strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, along with experience working in urgent care, emergency rooms, or medical office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort while maintaining aseptic technique.
- Operate a X-ray machine.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to position patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection standards during all imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and technical data in compliance with medical records regulations.
- Keep current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in a healthcare setting with a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology principles.
- Prior work in urgent care centers or emergency room environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret complex anatomical images confidently.
