American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN) position in Mt. Pleasant, MI, requiring 2+ years of OB experience and an active MI RN license.

13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN) unit
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

36 hours per week

Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required as needed

Active Michigan (MI) RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN (must be dated within the last two years)

Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience required

Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration

Collaborates with physicians to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans
-
Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders for OB patients
-
Delegates to and oversees support staff including Nurse Assistants, OB Care Associates, and Nursing Clerks
-
No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
