Job Summary
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) while adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
- Manage patient records using EagleSoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain infection prevention management by following aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and clinical confidentiality policies
- Support administrative tasks including patient management software updates, appointment scheduling, and greeting patients as a dental receptionist
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency with dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards
- Knowledge of dental equipment such as 3D scanners, dental x-ray machines, and other clinical tools
- Experience with dental sterilization procedures and infection control practices in compliance with healthcare standards
- Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral structures and oral surgery procedures
- Experience in Oral Surgery and sedation is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is STRONGLY PREFERRED

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
