Leasing Agent
Modern Living Rentals is growing, and we are looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our leasing team! As one of the top real estate development and property management companies in the area, we pride ourselves on a dynamic work environment and an excellent community reputation.
We offer a hybrid work schedule (1–2 days remote per week) and maintain diligent health and safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Leasing & Customer Service: Provide courteous, efficient handling of all prospect and resident communications. Greet prospects, show available apartments, and effectively convert leads into signed leases.
- Administrative & Compliance: Prepare required paperwork to process and move in prospective tenants. Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, addendums, and building amenities. Assist with rent collections and accounting.
- Marketing & Lead Generation: Create compelling advertisements and property listings. Serve as the point person for all marketing activities, including managing SEO, the website, social media, and third-party listings. Track results and manage the marketing calendar and budget.
- Content Creation: Coordinate project/apartment photo shoots and handle basic videography utilized in marketing materials.
- Operations & Maintenance Support: Take service requests from residents and coordinate work orders with the maintenance team. Help maintain the property’s "curb appeal" by reporting any unusual circumstances.
- Community Expertise: Maintain a strong knowledge of the current market and the local geographical area to provide accurate directions and community information.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the integrity of the community by ensuring strict confidentiality of resident and company information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle required.
- Experience: Prior experience in apartment leasing is helpful but not required. Candidates with a strong hospitality or retail background are highly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Personable, professional, and sales-oriented attitude. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, think on your feet, and problem-solve effectively.
Schedule & Location
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Location: Hybrid (1–2 days remote per week, remaining days on-site)
