We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bilingual Dental Front Office Specialist with expertise in Dentrix to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in dental office administration, demonstrating proficiency in managing front desk operations, patient interactions, and insurance processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, along with comprehensive knowledge Dentrix. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient service, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency.
- Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance claims submission, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Assist with billing procedures including dental coding.
- Support clinic administrative functions such as filing, data entry (including 10-key typing), and managing electronic health records.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for dental procedures while managing patient inquiries regarding treatment plans and insurance coverage.
- Collaborate closely with dental staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations, including intake procedures and care plan documentation.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing patient concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a dental office setting with a focus on front desk responsibilities.
- Proven proficiency in Dentrix is required.
- Strong background in dental terminology, dental billing, dental coding and dental insurance verification processes.
- Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, health information management practices, and clinical documentation review procedures.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 keys per second is preferred.
