Controller
Westin Trading, Inc. is a national trading company based in St. Louis, MO. Focusing on business-to-business sales, we have been a leader in the wholesale grocery business for over 30 years.
Our primary business is buying and selling truckloads of nationally branded grocery products. Our customers are large national chains and wholesale distributors.

We are currently looking for a Controller to work as an integral part of management. Working with, and reporting directly to the President & CEO, job responsibilities will include:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting/finance functions.
Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management.
· Manage Account Receivable and collections
· Management of banking, insurance, and outside CPA relationships
· Perform Month-end P&L
· Responsibility for inter-company transactions and reconciliation
· Work with outside CPA regarding Federal tax filings and annual 1099 reporting
· Direct supervision of Staff Accountants who performs AP, invoicing, monthly journal entries, and various other responsibilities
· Process payroll in QuickBooks and manage payroll tax returns.
· Assist / manage company warehouse inventory and orders in/out of facility.
· Manage 401-k contributions and annual reporting.
· Assist with HR functions of onboarding new employees.
Skills and Qualifications:
· 6-8 years of accounting experience and supervisory/management experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.
· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
