- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct clinical experience working inside an accredited substance abuse or dual-diagnosis treatment center environment (Mandatory).
- EHR Software: Professional proficiency and advanced working knowledge of KIPU Systems is strictly Mandatory.

Duties & Requirements
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis, and other evidence-based techniques.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction medicine, mental health counseling, PTSD care, and crisis management.
- Utilize motivational interviewing and crisis intervention skills to motivate clients toward recovery goals while managing acute behavioral health crises effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations; ensure timely updates of patient care notes and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, medical staff, case managers, and family members, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor or equivalent credential is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, behavioral health treatment planning, crisis management, addiction counseling roles. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, intervention, redirection, motivational interviewing, and clinical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and case management; ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team; flexibility to adapt to various clinical environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding and hands-on experience working under The Joint Commission, CARF, and ASAM guidelines/documentation standards.Availability: Must be ready to step into the role and start immediately upon clearing standard pre-employment background and healthcare screening.
Hathaway Recovery Management
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
