The Family Support Center is seeking individuals who are interested in becoming Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) through our PAID training program!
Treatment Approach:
One-on-one in-center sessions with option of in-home/school sessions
Sessions are structured with research-based behavior plans and skill programming assessed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and implemented by you, the RBT.
Treatment plans work to decrease maladaptive behaviors and replace them with more appropriate behaviors using positive reinforcement,
Skill development programming works to improve communication skills, peer skills, social skills, adaptive capabilities, and independent life skills.
Session data and note taking are included in every session.
4-WEEK PAID TRAINING TO BECOME A REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
- RBT video training
- small group trainings
- large amounts of hands-on session training with certified staff and clients
- paid exam to become state certified as a Registered Behavior Technician
*** Please note that there are a few required training you must attend regardless of availability. If you are unable to attend these trainings you may not be offered this position
SCHEDULE:
- Full time: 30-40 hrs/wk
- Part time: 20-29 hrs/wk positions available.
- Flexible with student schedules - Morning (8-12), afternoon (12-4), and evening (4-7) blocks
PAY
- Training - $16
- RBT - $18 - $21
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or GED
Must be able to obtain two forms of Government issued ID's upon interview
Must be 18+

- This role will REQUIRE you to pass a physical.
Can you meet ALL physical Requirements listed:
Ability to lift/push/pull, repetitively, 45 pounds to carry, lift and/or physically prompt a client through the center (or other area of attendance) to the appropriate area throughout the work day (4+ hours daily)
Manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions
Visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices and paper means
Ability to speak with proper pronunciation, diction and intonation
Ability to listen to and comprehend different rates of speech
Ability to provide feedback on appropriate pronunciation, diction and intonation
