We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. Your passion for coffee and commitment to delivering an outstanding experience to our guests will be key to your success in this role.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including brewing equipment, serving areas, and dining spaces.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or special requests promptly.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling and storing food items properly, following health codes at all times.
- Assist in restocking inventory, monitoring supplies, and notifying management of any shortages or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours and contribute to a positive work environment.
**Skills:**
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of retail math principles for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating orders.
- Experience in the food industry or café environment is a plus.
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee varieties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable.
