Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Stewardship: Propel the organization forward through visionary financial planning and fiscal stewardship.
- Executive Decision Mastery: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team, providing financial counsel to inform decisions.
- Risk Management: Navigate financial risks, ensuring resilience and fortifying the financial foundation.
- Capital Optimization: Manage investments and maximize resource efficiency.
- Financial Governance: Uphold high standards of financial governance and compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate financial insights for the board, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- M&A Leadership: Lead financial activities for potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a finance team towards continuous improvement.
Specific Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including cash management, accounts receivable, invoicing, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset subledgers, and account reconciliations.
- Perform weekly cash flow forecasts and intercompany cash activities.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the intercompany reconciliation process and regulatory reporting.
- Support the annual financial audit.
- Safeguard company assets through effective internal controls.
- Lead annual strategy, budget, and forecasting processes.
- Drive automation, efficiency, and scalability initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant financial and managerial experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and relevant financial tools and databases.
- A higher degree (MBA or similar) or participation in the CFA program is a plus.
