Duties:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Drop and hook
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
-Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations
-Promptly reporting any traffic violations, road accidents, and vehicle breakdowns to management.
Qualifications:
-21 years of age or older
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A)
- Proven 1 year driving experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus
