This position offers significant responsibility from day one. Materials are our largest company expense, and your decisions will directly impact the success and profitability of the business.
What You'll Do
You'll work closely with our Project Managers and Project Coordinators to purchase materials for commercial construction projects throughout Arizona.
Responsibilities include:
- Purchasing materials for multiple active construction projects.
- Reading commercial construction plans, specifications, and approved submittals to understand project requirements.
- Obtaining quotes from vendors and comparing pricing.
- Negotiating costs, freight, and delivery schedules.
- Building strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Tracking purchase orders, shipments, and lead times.
- Coordinating deliveries with vendors and freight carriers.
- Solving problems before they impact our customers or project schedules.
- Looking for opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Exploring how AI and new technology can make purchasing faster, smarter, and more efficient.

Qualifications
We're more interested in who you are than exactly where you've worked.
Ideal candidates may have experience in:
- Commercial construction
- Purchasing or procurement
- Project coordination
- Supply chain
- Estimating
- Operations
- Manufacturing
- Distribution
Experience reading commercial construction drawings is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person who is motivated to learn.
Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software are important.
