**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will comfortably join our small team, assist the dentist with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
**Duties:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories
- Assist dentists during procedures, including general dentistry, pediatrics, extractions, implants and endodontics
- Take dental X-rays; with Dental Radiology certification
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing
- Maintain clean work spaces
- Educate patients on oral health
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and medical terminology
- Organization
- Typing and note taking
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with dental procedures such as endodontics and pediatric dentistry
- Understanding of dental anatomy and medical imaging techniques
- Experience in dental receptionist duties is a plus
