Position Summary
The C208 Senior Lead Technician provides oversight of assigned vendors to ensure compliance with contracted work, delivers onsite technical troubleshooting support to line station technicians and Maintenance Control, and helps assure the safe operation and continued airworthiness of MAC's C208 fleet.
Key Responsibilities

Oversees component repairs returned no-fault-found or without a firm conclusion of fix, working with vendors to resolve outstanding issues.

Provides daily troubleshooting assistance to line station technicians and Maintenance Control, and creates company documents to support aircraft and component repair and inspection.

Assures proper troubleshooting and repair of assigned aircraft, and the continued airworthiness of MAC's C208 fleet, in compliance with Company safety policies and procedures.

Performs analysis of aircraft and parts failures to identify trends, and represents the CASS Department in root cause analysis as needed.

Assists with compliance related to FAA requirements for Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).

Conducts on-site training for technicians on troubleshooting and systems operation.

Coordinates with customers and vendors on aircraft schedules, parts movement, and fleet modification status.

Assists with ECTM/FOQA data collection, and reviews and approves external C208 work order bids and closures.

Performs or assists with audits and reconciliation of inventory and asset issues.

Supports Heavy Station Management conference calls and budget/forecast requirements.

Manages internal and external vendor relationships for labor hours, parts usage, and cost capture under applicable airworthiness agreements.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Qualifications

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Part 121, 135, or 145 operations.

Experience with the Cessna C208 or similar aircraft type required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, line technicians, and company personnel.

Working knowledge of applicable safety requirements to support timely, safe aircraft repairs.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers an annual salary of $70,000–$75,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with medical, vision, and dental coverage, long-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a Company match of 50% on the first 6% contributed. Additional voluntary benefits include short-term disability, supplemental life insurance, and flexible spending accounts, along with paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

FAA Certificate Contingency: This position requires holding and maintaining a valid FAA A&P certificate in good standing at all times. Any suspension, revocation, or lapse of this certificate may result in termination of employment.

Safety-Sensitive / DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing: This is a safety-sensitive position. As required by 49 CFR Part 40 and applicable FAA regulations, candidates and employees are subject to pre-employment, random, reasonable-suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing under MAC's FAA-approved anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program.

Work Authorization / Form I-9: All new hires must provide documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States, as required by federal law (Form I-9).

Airport Security Badging: Depending on specific duties, this position may require an airport-issued security badge, including fingerprinting and a security threat assessment under TSA regulations.
