Exodus Recovery, Inc. (Exodus) is seeking a full-time Therapeutic Coach to join our CA-START San Diego program in Vista or San Diego, CA.
This role provides direct, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who are experiencing behavioral health needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Therapeutic Coach partners with individuals, families, and care providers to implement skill-building strategies that promote emotional regulation, stability, and overall well-being. This role emphasizes proactive engagement, crisis prevention, and reinforcement of individualized crisis plans within natural environments.
MINIMUM QUALLIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field is required
- Experience in the mental health field and/or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Relevant experience should include direct support, behavioral health services, crisis response, or care coordination.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the mental health field and/or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field is required

COMPENSATION:
- $26–$30/hour (commensurate with experience)
SCHEDULE:
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
- Weekday schedule (day shift)
