The Kingsley-Pierson Community School District is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered educator to serve in a unique dual-role position. This individual will provide special education services to middle school students (grades 5–8). The successful candidate will foster academic growth, support individualized learning needs, collaborate with staff and families, and promote excellence for all learners.

Provide direct instruction and support services to students with disabilities in grades 5–8.

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress toward IEP goals.

Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations, modifications, and instructional support.

Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and eligibility determinations.

Maintain accurate special education records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress and needs.

Support students in developing academic, behavioral, organizational, and social-emotional skills.

Participate in building intervention teams and problem-solving processes.

Establish positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community members.

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Participate in district professional development and collaborative teams.

Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
