Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings that enhance their experience.
- Operate POS system such as Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with beverage recipe development.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while providing friendly and attentive customer service in a lively setting.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, with knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe creation.
- Familiarity with POS system such as Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer styles, and beverage safety standards.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food handling procedures.
