.Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Health
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home patient care. The CNA will assist patients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing and showers, and provide light restorative support to help maintain mobility and independence. This role works under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a home health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing
- Provide light restorative care such as range-of-motion exercises and ambulation assistance
- Support patient positioning and comfort
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment for patients
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Follow individualized care plans and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical team members
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas
- Previous patient care or home health experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes
- Automobile insurance
- CPR License
