- Type: 8+ month contract
- Location: 1845 W 205TH ST, Torrance, CA 90501 (onsite)
- Shift: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start (Non‑9/80)
- Safety: Steel‑toe footwear required
- Interview: Required
- Receive and inspect incoming goods; validate against POs/pack lists; identify, label, and disposition to storage or production.
- Maintain AS9100‑compliant documentation: lot/serial tracking, inventory transactions, bills of lading, and shipping records.
- Complete cycle counts and inventory audits; resolve variances and drive corrective actions.
- Store materials to environmental and handling requirements; preserve part integrity and shelf life.
- Partner with Procurement/Production/Quality to manage shortages and delivery schedules; support material requests.
- Participate in AS9100 audits; help implement process improvements aligned to quality standards.
- AS9100 certification.
- 1–3 years in materials handling, preferably aerospace/defense/aviation or manufacturing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfort with inventory systems and accurate data entry.
- Ability to lift/move heavy items and operate material handling equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
- AS9102 knowledge (first article inspection documentation).
- Familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement.
