At Meadow Wood Animal Hospital, our Client Service Representatives are the heartbeat of the practice. They are advocates, coordinators, problem-solvers, and the calm voice clients rely on during both joyful visits and difficult moments.
We’re a well-established, full-service animal hospital that has proudly served the Lawton community for years. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/CSR who understands that exceptional veterinary care begins the moment a client walks through the door or picks up the phone.

What You’ll Do
Client Experience & Communication
- Be the first and lasting impression for every client by phone, email, and in person
- Manage call volume with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism
- Support clients through a wide range of emotions, including urgent concerns and end of life conversations
- Serve as a clear communicator between clients, technicians, and doctors
Scheduling, Records & Financial Accuracy
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and boarding efficiently
- Maintain accurate client and patient records (AVImark experience strongly preferred)
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and review invoices for accuracy
- Ensure medical notes and charges are entered correctly and completely
Operational & Team Support
- Prepare prescription refills and provide basic medication instructions
- Collect and properly label samples for the medical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked reception area
- Assist with end-of-day processes including drawer balancing and reports
Who We’re Looking For
This role is best suited for someone who already understands the pace and expectations of veterinary medicine.
- Veterinary or medical receptionist experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of one year of customer-facing experience
- Comfortable handling financial transactions and sensitive client conversations
- Calm, confident, and emotionally resilient
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Team focused and dependable
Schedule (Required Availability)
This position requires flexibility to work both of our standard CSR shifts. Applicants must be available for either schedule, as shifts rotate based on staffing needs.
- Early shift: 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM
- Late shift: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
CSRs do not select a permanent shift. Team members are scheduled for a mix of early and late shifts, along with rotating weekends.
