We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our team for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). This vital role involves providing safe, reliable transportation services to clients requiring medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other essential travel needs. As a Driver in this position, you will be the friendly face and trusted professional ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. Your dedication will help improve the quality of life for our clients by delivering compassionate, punctual, and efficient transportation services.

Duties
- Safely operate passenger vehicles including vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments and community destinations.
- Follow all local, state, and federal transportation regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to traffic conditions for timely arrivals.
- Assist passengers with mobility needs, including loading and unloading wheelchairs or mobility aids, ensuring proper manual handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and comfort for all passengers.
- Communicate professionally with clients, healthcare providers, and dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and client confidentiality policies at all times.
Requirements
- Proven delivery driver experience or bus driving background with a valid driver’s license appropriate for passenger vehicles.
- Experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousine services, or chauffeur driving preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes.
- Knowledge of medical transportation practices and client communication skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading mobility aids or luggage.
- Strong understanding of traffic regulations, especially those related to commercial or passenger vehicle operation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and clear communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; additional certifications such as CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or chauffeur licenses are advantageous.
- Commitment to safety standards, vehicle maintenance routines, and punctuality in daily operations.

Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
