Job Description
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Bilingual HR Manager in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering closely with operational leadership while serving as the primary human resources resource for a busy distribution facility.
This position supports both employees and managers across a fast-paced environment, handling a wide variety of HR responsibilities including employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, recruiting, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, communicates professionally in both English and Spanish, and is comfortable balancing strategic HR guidance with day-to-day operational needs.
This is an on-site role that includes time spent in both an office setting and throughout the warehouse as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership at the assigned facility.
- Partner with management to provide guidance on employee relations, performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues.
- Conduct thorough employee investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate next steps while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Advise leaders on attendance, performance improvement, coaching, and corrective action processes.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and hiring coordination.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, maintain applicant records, and ensure a smooth hiring experience.
- Facilitate new employee orientation and support the overall onboarding experience.
- Build strong working relationships with employees and supervisors while promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Monitor workforce trends and partner with leadership on staffing strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and confidential.
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits, safety, and HR leadership to support ongoing HR operations and compliance efforts.
- Manage multiple priorities while responding effectively to changing business needs in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong background in employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Experience supporting hourly employees in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, fulfillment, retail, or other operational environments.
- Comfortable serving as the primary or sole HR representative for a facility with minimal day-to-day HR support.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated success coaching managers through employee performance, disciplinary actions, and sensitive workplace situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-directed professional who can work independently while partnering with remote leadership.
- Experience balancing employee relations responsibilities with recruiting and staffing initiatives.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and HR technology tools. Experience with Paycom is a plus.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting multiple shifts and collaborating with cross-functional departments is a plus.
