Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:45 AM – 12:30 PM | 37.5 hours/week
Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and rebuild their lives? We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Counselor to join our team and support clients on their journey to recovery. In this impactful role, you’ll work directly with individuals struggling with substance use, helping them navigate challenges and achieve lasting change.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based counseling, including behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with healthcare and support staff to provide holistic care
- Offer crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support for clients and families
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Licensure (preferred but not required): CADC, LPC, LCSW, LSW
- Strong empathy, cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills
- Experience with addiction treatment, relapse prevention, and behavioral therapy
- Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations
