Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant room and Toddler Teacher to join our team with degree in related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and education in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Infant and Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's growth, development, and learning. You will implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, social skills, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with children to encourage their participation and expression.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including literacy, social skills, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs or different learning styles.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Degree and experience in related field
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and lesson planning strategies.
- Experience in special education is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A background in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
