Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller & Coder to join our busy and growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical coding, claims submission, denial management, insurance verification, and payer contracting. This position plays a key role in maximizing reimbursement, ensuring compliance, and maintaining payer relationships.
Responsibilities
Medical Billing
- Follow up on unpaid, rejected, and denied claims.
- Process appeals and claim reconsiderations.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and aging reports.
- Knowledge of payer credentialing and contracting processes.
- Work denials related to critical care, hospital, pulmonary, sleep and E/M
Medical Coding
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation.
- ICU/Critical Care Coding and ensure proper use of critical care CPT codes
- Review medical records for coding accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and resolve coding-related claim issues.
- Stay current with coding guidelines and payer policies.
Compensation Based on experience (amount shown is not the exact amount of starting compensation)
Pay: From $21.00 per hour

- 2 years of medical billing and coding experience,

License/Certification:
