Classic Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team on second shift. This position offers a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts, allowing you to enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off while earning an additional 5% shift premium.

What You'll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while supporting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the shop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, routings, and engineering drawings
- Determining efficient machining processes and production methods
- Producing parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshooting machining and production issues
- Participating in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
- Collaborating with team members to improve quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
- Assisting with overtime opportunities when production demands require additional support
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience with machine setup, programming, and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills
- Experience using precision inspection equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
