Field Service Mechanic - CNC Machining Centers – Worcester, MA
Seeking Field Service Mechanic with experience traveling to customer sites to install, repair, and modify CNC Machining Centers.
Activities:
- Lead installation of CNC mills, grinders, lathes, etc. and connect, wire, power-up, test, tune, and troubleshoot machines.
- Train customers on proper start up, operation, shut down, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Recommend additional warranties or service plans.
- Assist with spare part ordering and recommend purchase of replacement parts or tooling.
- Act as the face of the company to customers and ensure all questions are answered and concerns are addressed.
- Repair and upgrade machines, provide remote assistance when customers need help solving minor problems.
Required:
- 3+ years hands-on installation, repair, modification, or upgrade of CNC Mills, Grinders, Lathes, etc.
- Ability and willingness to travel region daily for installation and repair service calls.
