Duties
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT scans, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist in emergency medicine settings and Level I or Level II trauma centers by providing rapid, accurate imaging support during critical situations.
- Operate complex medical equipment with precision while adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images that facilitate accurate diagnoses of conditions related to anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and contribute to comprehensive patient assessments.
- Ensure aseptic techniques are followed during procedures requiring sterile environments and handle sensitive equipment with care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or Level I/II trauma centers with a strong understanding of emergency medicine protocols.
- Proficiency in sonography, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, and other advanced imaging modalities.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Skilled in operating various medical imaging equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, mammography units, DEXA scanners, and fluoroscopy systems.
- Familiarity with implementing radiation safety protocols and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
- Experience working with interventional radiology procedures and performing diagnostic evaluations under high-pressure conditions.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced healthcare environments.

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,500.00 per week
