Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic. Your expertise will support comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, and ongoing management of patients with complex medical needs. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with current clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Administer medications, including injections ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and medical records management.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care and support patients remotely.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and patient education.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of infection control and sterile processing.
Experience
- Proven clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (Level I/II trauma centers), emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICU/PICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Experience performing procedures like articular and peri-articular joint injections is a plus.
- Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 coding standards for documentation accuracy is a plus.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and utilization review processes is a plus.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
