Responsibilities

- Diagnose issues accurately using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant problems.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and ductwork with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Install new HVAC units in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Collaborate with clients to explain repairs or maintenance procedures clearly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards during all service activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role with a strong understanding of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by state or local authorities.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment used for troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigerant handling (EPA certification preferred), and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
