Downtown Dogs is looking for dedicated and passionate dog lovers to fill 1 positions at our Palo Alto location. Training will take place at our San Jose location, so candidates must be able to commute for training.
Available Positions:
- PM Reception and Cleaner (Monday - Friday, approximately either 7 PM - 11 PM or 4:30 PM - 10:30 PM) prefer a 4PM to midnight availability for flexibility
- Playgroup Leader

Position Details & Responsibilities PM Cleaner
As a PM Receptionist and Cleaner, you'll be responsible for keeping the facility clean and ready for the next day. Tasks include:
✅ Mopping large areas and vacuuming
✅ Moving equipment and general cleaning
✅ Interacting with customers during late pick-ups
✅ Supervising dogs that stay late in the evening
Good customer service skills are a must! You’ll be interacting with pet parents, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential. From bringing their pups up to bringing up their transactions, you will be the final face that they see.
Attention to detail is important. Please remember you were applying for a reception and janitorial position and you’ll be responsible for all parts of the building. Lobby, Bathroom, kitchen, playroom, rooms, etc..
This is a physically demanding position requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
