Job Summary:
The Hospital Facilities Mechanical/Electrical Team Leader oversees the maintenance and operation of the hospital's mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. They lead a team of technicians, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and implement preventive maintenance programs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, managing repair projects, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the hospital's mechanical systems operate efficiently and reliably. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in a healthcare setting.
Maintenance Hospital Plumber Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing

Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing.

Certifications such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical licenses.

5-7 Years in mechanical systems maintenance
-
2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Excellent Time management skills.

A customer service oriented approach to work, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations and patient care.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance.
