We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various job sites. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Assemble and plumb various fixtures, pipes, and appliances according to blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including carpenters and HVAC technicians.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the installation of plumbing systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plumbing construction.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
