BLACK LABEL is a white-glove supplier and design and technical-support partner for commercial cultivators and extraction labs across the country. We work in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), supplying multi-state operators, single-state cultivators, and extraction labs with everything from lighting, irrigation, fertigation, airflow, racking, substrates, and IPM to extraction equipment and solvents - and helping them design and build out their facilities. The Role
We are hiring a Commercial Service Manager (CSM) to own the customer relationship from first quote through delivered order. This is a fully remote, full-time role for someone who thrives on being a client's go-to contact - part trusted advisor, part sales partner, part logistics quarterback. You will manage a book of commercial cultivation and extraction lab accounts, grow those relationships through consultative selling, and take full ownership of order fulfillment - making sure the products we supply reach the customer accurately and on time, including orders shipped directly from our manufacturing partners. You do not need to be a cultivation or extraction expert on day one; we will teach you the industry. You do need to be the kind of person who makes customers feel taken care of.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned set of commercial cultivation and extraction lab accounts, building long-term, trust-based relationships
- Understand each customer's operation and needs, then recommend the right products and solutions through a consultative, no-pressure approach
- Prepare accurate quotes, follow up on opportunities, and grow account revenue through renewals, reorders, and thoughtful upsells
- Own order fulfillment end to end: process and confirm customer orders, coordinate shipments (including product shipped directly from our manufacturing partners), track deliveries, and resolve any issues before they reach the customer
- Keep account activity, quotes, and orders accurate and up to date in our CRM and Shopify
- Partner with our vendor partners and internal team members to ensure every order reflects the BLACK LABEL standard of precision and service
- Anticipate customer needs, respond quickly, and follow through on every commitment
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years in customer success, account management, inside sales, or a similar client-facing role where you owned relationships and outcomes
- A consultative communicator who builds trust easily and genuinely enjoys taking care of customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - you can juggle multiple accounts and open orders without letting anything slip
- Comfort with business software; experience with a CRM (such as HubSpot or Salesforce) and an order platform like Shopify is a plus
- Self-motivated and dependable in a fully remote environment, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in Controlled Environment Agriculture, horticulture, cannabis, extraction, or a related supply or procurement field is a bonus, but not required - we will train the right person
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus

- Fully remote work, open to candidates anywhere in the United States
